Today was chilly across the state as a low-pressure system coupled with cold air bring snow to Mid-Michigan. Some areas saw snow totals of 1 to 3 inches. At press time, snow has begun to taper off and will continue to do so as the night turns to morning.

For your Tuesday as the low pressure moves away skies will be mostly cloudy with temperatures in the lower to mid-40s and winds will also become breezy throughout the day. I expect our snowfall to start melting by tomorrow and will be gone in some spots as early as today, or as late as Wednesday.

As the week goes on, Thursday will be mild with showers early, clearing out by the afternoon. Highs in the mid-60s. Friday cools down a tiny bit into the lower 50s, with Saturday being very warm in the lower to mid-70s, however as we know, a warm day in Michigan leads to showers or storms.
